Low Permeation Fuel Line Requirements

In an effort to reduce smog-forming emissions, the EPA has put requirements in place to limit the amount of gasoline that permeates (vapor escapes) through fuel handling and fuel system components. Many of the fuel system components permeate as gas vapors over time.

The changes will benefit your customers by decreasing gasoline consumption and benefit the environment by reducing the amount of gas vapors lost to the atmosphere plus benefit from safer fuel systems for both the boater and the environment.
